1. Who we are

magpietech.us and the MAGPIE online store are operated by Magpie Industry Inc., a Delaware corporation ("MAGPIE", "we", "us" or "our"). We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Orders and account: name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number and order details.
• Contact and support: the information you include when you contact us, such as your name, email, the product, your order number, where you bought it, your company and your message, along with any photos or videos you send.
• Reviews and newsletter: your review content and the email address you use to subscribe.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Shopify and the payment providers shown at checkout, such as Shop Pay and Amazon Pay. They receive your card or account details directly. We do not receive or store your full card number.

Information collected automatically

When you browse the store, we and our service providers collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, approximate location, pages viewed, referring website and how you interact with the store. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies described below.

3. How we use it

• to process, ship and deliver your orders, handle returns and warranty claims;
• to respond to your questions and provide customer support;
• to send order and shipping updates;
• to send marketing emails if you subscribed, and to show relevant ads;
• to understand how the store is used and improve our products and website;
• to prevent fraud, keep the store secure and comply with legal obligations.

4. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, measure site traffic and run advertising. These include tools from Shopify, Google (Analytics and Ads), Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok, our customer chat provider Tidio and our product review provider Judge.me.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some parts of the store may not work properly without them. You can also adjust ad preferences through Google Ad Settings and your Meta and TikTok account settings. Our store does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.

5. How we share it

We share personal information only as needed to run our business:

• Service providers that host the store, process payments, provide customer support tools, send emails and collect reviews, such as Shopify, Tidio and Judge.me.
• Shipping and fulfillment partners that pack and deliver your order, including carriers and Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment.
• Advertising and analytics partners such as Google, Meta and TikTok, which receive information about your use of the store through cookies and similar technologies.
• Legal and safety reasons, when required by law or to protect our rights, our customers or others.
• Business transfers, if MAGPIE is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

We do not sell personal information for money. Sharing information with advertising partners through cookies may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under some US state laws. You can opt out as described in Section 7.

6. Marketing emails

If you subscribe to our newsletter or agree to receive marketing at checkout, we may send you news about products and offers. Each email includes an unsubscribe link. We will still send you messages about your orders.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, including California and other US states with privacy laws, you may have the right to:

• know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use and share it;
• access and receive a copy of your personal information;
• correct inaccurate information;
• delete your personal information;
• opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising.

To make a request, email info@magpietech.us with the subject "Privacy request". We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we aim to respond within 30 days. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

8. Retention and security

We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes above, including to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements, and then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. International processing

Our team and service providers operate in the United States, South Korea and other countries. Your information may be processed outside your home state or country, where data protection laws may differ. We take steps to protect it as described in this policy.

10. Children

The store is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
